Shape the future of  Australian HR

AI-enabled HR for Australian businesses

The infrastructure that makes good HR practice possible has always existed. For most Australian employers and practitioners, access to it has not. Nooma is an experiment in changing that.

FAQs

Before you apply

What if I already use HR software?

Nooma works alongside your existing systems. It is not a replacement for your payroll platform or HRIS. It is the layer above your system of record that supports the decision-making, documentation, and compliance work your current tools do not do.

Who built Nooma?

Nooma was built by a Chief Human Resources Officer with nearly twenty years of experience across Australian businesses. It was developed from inside HR practice, tested against real Australian compliance obligations, and shaped by an Industry Council of senior HR professionals, employment law advisors, and AI governance specialists. It is Australian-built and Australian-focused.

What happens at the end of the pilot?

Our team has a pricing conversation with you about what an ongoing subscription looks like for your business. Pilot partners access founding rates, locked for the life of their subscription. You are never automatically moved to a paid plan.

What happens to my data?

Nooma is contractually prohibited from using your data to train AI models. Inputs are deleted within 30 days. We are building to SOC 2 Type II and ISO 42001:2023, the international standard for AI management systems. Your data stays yours.

How is Nooma different from other HR software available in Australia?

Most HR software manages workforce data. Nooma supports the actual work of HR. It helps you make decisions, document your reasoning, and stand behind your HR work the way Australian employment law and regulators expect. It is built on Australian legislation, not adapted from overseas frameworks, and it is designed to make good HR practice accessible to every Australian business regardless of size or budget.

Is the pilot genuinely free?

Yes. Twelve weeks of full Nooma access at no cost. No credit card required to apply or to begin. No automatic rollover to a paid subscription. At the end of the pilot, we have a pricing conversation on your terms and you decide whether to continue.

What HR work does Nooma actually help with?

Onboarding, employment agreements, performance management, workplace investigations, ER queries, policy management, and more. Everything is grounded in current Australian employment law. During the pilot, you use it against your actual work, not a demo environment.

Do I need HR experience to use Nooma?

No. Nooma is designed for people who carry HR responsibility without necessarily having an HR background. The platform guides you through processes, provides current templates and procedures grounded in Australian employment law, and flags where a decision needs to be made. You do not need to know employment law to use it. That is the point.

Who is the pilot for?

Australian businesses where HR is currently being managed by the owner, an office manager, or a small team without dedicated HR support. We are particularly interested in businesses where HR risk is real and growing, and where the person carrying that responsibility is doing it without the infrastructure to do it well.

What is Nooma?

Nooma is an AI-enabled HR platform built by Australian HR practitioners for Australian businesses. It supports the HR work that happens in every business, from employment agreements and onboarding through to performance management, workplace investigations, and compliance. It is grounded in Australian employment law and designed around the person doing the work, not the enterprise buying the software.
